    SINGLE SIGN-ON BEGINS APRIL 7

As part of its ACGME Cloud platform launch, the ACGME is aiming to make single sign-on (SSO) available starting April 7. To prepare, all users should plan to create an ACGME Cloud account starting on April 7 to enable SSO and access to the Accreditation Data System (ADS), as well as to future ACGME Cloud products. ACGME Cloud | Analytics - Public Data will not require SSO.

    WHAT YOU NEED TO DO

    • Verify the accuracy of your email address in ADS, since this address is a required credential for your ACGME Cloud account.
    • Plan to create your ACGME Cloud account on this ADS login page or via ACGME Cloud on April 7.
    • Watch a training video on the new SSO process.
    • Additionally, visit and bookmark ACGMEcloud.org for key updates and more details, including final confirmation of the launch dates.

Note that the launch and account creation dates are subject to change.

    EXPANDED ADS ACCOUNT ACCESS

To improve continued access to ADS, the number of accounts is increasing as follows:

    • Sponsoring Institutions: From 3 to 8 accounts (+ the designated institutional official (DIO) account).
    • Programs: From 3 to 6 accounts (+ the program director account).

Note that Institutional and Program Recognition accounts remain unchanged.

The Resident/Fellow Portal provides access to profile information (with editing capabilities), Graduate Medical Education History, program-level aggregated Resident/Fellow Survey Reports, and Milestone Evaluations.

To create their Resident/Fellow Portal account, individual residents and fellows should visit https://apps.acgme.org/ads/public/residentportal/search and enter their relevant information.

Email questions or feedback regarding the Portal to ads@acgme.org.

The Accreditation Data System (ADS) is an online service of the ACGME . Usernames, passwords, or any other piece of information used as part of our security procedures must be treated as confidential and must not be disclosed to any other person or entity. Sponsors and accredited programs may only access and/or update their own organizational records. Users acknowledge that information submitted to ADS through the application process or annual reporting shall be accurate, complete, and truthful. Users are responsible for taking all reasonable steps to ensure that no unauthorized person shall have access to their ADS account and agree to immediately notify the ACGME of any need to deactivate the account. The ACGME has the right to disable any username, password, or other identifier, whether chosen by the user or provided by the ACGME , at any time if, in our opinion, these Terms of Use were violated.

  • Attention, users running Chrome, Firefox or Safari with plugins or extensions. If you are currently experiencing an incomplete User Interface (UI), please add "acgme.org" domain to your ad blocking plugin/extension whitelist. The reason for the page displaying without styles resides in the domain name having "ads" ex: apps.acgme.org/ads in which the plugin/extension reacts to "Ads".

  • Access to the Accreditation Data System (ADS) is encrypted and secured by a 256-bit SSL certificate to ensure the secure transfer of information.

  • The data you provide us will be used by ACGME for accreditation, will be maintained confidentially, and will not be distributed for commercial use. Summary data and other information about programs, institutions, resident physicians or resident physician education which is not identifiable by person or organization may be published in a manner appropriate to further the quality of GME and consistent with ACGME policies and the law. Complete information about the use of the ADS can be found in the ACGME Terms of Use. Additional information on the ACGME’s Privacy Policy can be found in the ACGME Privacy Policy and ACGME Commitment to Data Privacy.

The Case Log System utilizes Common Procedural Terminology (CPT) codes. The five character codes and descriptions included in the system are obtained from CPT, copyright 2025, by the American Medical Association (AMA). CPT is developed by the AMA as a listing of descriptive terms and five character identifying codes and modifiers for reporting medical services and procedures.

The Medical School Portal is intended for medical school faculty, administrators, and staff involved in assessing student learning. This portal is used to provide medical schools and colleges greater insight into the performance of medical school graduates during their residency training. Contact MedSchoolPortal@acgme.org for more information.
