The ACGME offices have relocated to 401 North Michigan Ave., Chicago, IL 60611
ACGME will periodically require users to change their passwords.
If your password was originally set up with case sensitivity, it will now be required when logging in to ADS/Case Logs.
Resetting your password - requirements:
Password must be between 8 and 50 characters long, must contain at least one lowercase letter, at least one uppercase letter, at least one number, and one special character. Special characters must exclude the following: space, double quote, single quote, less than symbol, greater than symbol, backslash and forward slash.
Attention, users running Chrome, Firefox or Safari with plugins or extensions. If you are currently experiencing an incomplete User Interface (UI), please add "acgme.org" domain to your ad blocking plugin/extension whitelist. The reason for the page displaying without styles resides in the domain name having "ads" ex: apps.acgme.org/ads in which the plugin/extension reacts to "Ads".
Access to the Accreditation Data System (ADS) is secured by an encryption certificate obtained through the VeriSign Corporation. We use 128-bit SSL encryption to help ensure the secure transfer of information. If you are using a less secure encryption level you may experience difficulty and should upgrade.
The Resident Case Log System utilizes Common Procedural Terminology (CPT) codes. The five character codes and descriptions included in the system are obtained from CPT, copyright 2014 by the American Medical Association (AMA). CPT is developed by the AMA as a listing of descriptive terms and five character identifying codes and modifiers for reporting medical services and procedures.
ACGME Data Systems can be accessed anywhere with an internet connection via a computer using Microsoft Windows or Apple Mac operating systems. To utilize current features and future enhancements completely, please access our systems using one of the supported web browsers listed below.
The web browser requirement includes all the ACGME Data Systems: Resident Case Log, Survey and Accreditation Data System.
Note: Due to security concerns identified by Microsoft, ACGME will no longer support Internet Explorer (IE) 8 beginning July 1, 2014. The discontinued support of IE 8 will apply to the Resident Case Logs, Surveys, and the Accreditation Data System.
Be aware that our upgraded data collection system will work in IE8 but you may experience decreased user interface experience and functionality. In IE8, go to Tools > Internet options > Settings > Security tab > Trusted Sites > Sites button and add https://apps.acgme.org to your list of trusted sites. Press “Apply” and “Ok”.
All users are urged to upgrade to IE 9, at least, in order to take advantage of its improved security features and stability. To upgrade, visit the IE downloads page. ACGME will continue to support IE 9, as well as Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, and Apple Safari.
Please e-mail WebADS@acgme.org with questions or concerns.
